Providing a CAD draughting service to the Theatre and Entertainment sector, specialising in producing Design Drawings for Set Designers, Production Managers, Theatres & Contractors.
My focus is on assisting those in need of technical drawings within the theatre and entertainment sector. I bring a unique perspective, combining an insight into the technical consideration required and a knowledge of the practicalities necessary, whilst still maintaining a connection and sympathy with the design aspirations.
Whilst I come from a background in Theatre Design, having earned a BA Hons. Degree in "Theatre Design for Performance" at Central Saint Martins, I've built up Twenty plus years of practical experience working in technical theatre.
I have been a freelance draughtsperson since 2009, creating drawings for Opera, Musicals, Dance and Theatre, also providing Venue plans, Site plans, and more. Prior to this, I enjoyed a varied career path in theatre, including five years working within the production office of the Royal Opera House, as a CAD Draughtsman & Assistant to a Production Manager, two years as a venue technician and Freelance crewing for various shows and venues.

Detailed technical drawings created to support your design, explaining the set and how it functions, ready for presentation to Venues, Theatres, Production Companies, Production Managers and Workshops.
AutoCAD 2D & 3D Drawings
I draught using AutoCAD, enabling me to output my technical drawings as native AutoCAD .dwg files, or as .dxf (drawing exchange files) ready to be imported to VetcorWorks or other CAD software.
Scaled PDF Prints
Alongside my CAD files, I always provide scaled PDF prints of each drawing, to enable those without CAD to read & print my drawings.
I draw in CAD at 1:1, so drawings can easily be printed at any scale or size you require.
Fully annotated drawings
Drawings are laid out to not just showcase the design, but also to explain how the design will function once on stage, demonstrating how it will need to break down for storage and transportation, with all limiting factors highlighted for consideration.
